Managing Director

Stephanie has over 25 years claims experience having worked for a major insurer, an international loss adjuster and a multi-national insurance broker, both as a Claims Investigator and Client Manager.

She has devised and delivered innovative and cost effective claims solutions for international commercial organisations and large public authority clients achieving company awards for client care initiatives and innovation and excellence.

Stephanie is also currently a member of the Cabinet Office’s SME business panel helping to shape the landscape of current procurement and buying practices.

Stephanie was also awarded the title of "Most Influential Woman in Claims Management – UK" at the 2018 Global Excellence Awards.

Mark Smith ^{Cert. CII}

Director - Claims

Mark is a highly experienced claim professional with over 30 years in the Insurance Industry.

He began his career with a major UK insurer before moving to a national broker based in Glasgow. He worked in, and latterly controlled, a specialist claims management unit dealing with liability and motor claims for self-insured Local Authorities and commercial clients throughout the UK.

Mark has vast experience in the handling of claims made against clients and in controlling their insurance programmes as account manager for many Local Authorities, Government Departments, Transport, Retail and Manufacturing clients.

Donald Selvester

Operations Manager ^{MA (Joint Hons)}

Donald joined Topmark in 2008 to set up a bespoke motor and accident management proposition before being promoted to the role of Operations Manager in 2015.

Donald has been material in shaping the current service and products delivered by TopMark and continually drives forward new initiatives, both internally and externally, working closely with our IT manager to ensure we are at the forefront on client service marrying traditional and comprehensive investigation techniques with the latest technology.

Sharon Murray

Technical claims and management

Sharon has over 34 year technical claims and management experience and has held many senior positions throughout her career including Technical and Operational Business Manager for a major UK insurer.

She works closely with our client base to manage all aspects of their risk and claims exposure and proactively engages with our supply chain partners to improve working practices and generate new ideas and initiatives that prevent incidents occurring in addition to reducing overall claims costs.

Elizabeth Ward

Claims Account Manager

Prior to joining TopMark, Elizabeth worked as an in house claims handler for one of the largest UK local authorities for over 20 years specialising in handling all aspects of liability and property claims.

Her vast knowledge of the remit and operations of such services has proved to be extremely useful for our clients particularly in relation to National Codes of Practice, Regulatory requirements and practical claims defensibility.

Elizabeth has particular expertise in the management of Utility clients and has achieved unprecedented savings and efficiencies on behalf of those client creating a centre of excellence within TopMark for this sector.

Billy Smith

Finance Manger ^{B.Acc, CA, MSc (IT), MCSA}

Billy is a qualified accountant who also achieved a Masters in Information Technology and has provided IT and financial solutions to a wide variety of clients in the insurance, local authority, retail and commercial sectors.

In addition he is responsible for claim analysis exercises to assist the claims team in identifying claims trends in respect of the common causes of claims and admissions of liability, in addition to providing regular fraud reports to the Audit Commission.

Giles Garcia

Giles is an exceptional IT expert who also has vast knowledge of the service objectives we deliver for our current clients. His detailed attention to adapting new technology, coupled with his knowledge of IT and claims systems in particular has proved hugely beneficial to both TopMark and clients alike.

His input and creativity has also helped us develop an award winning system that is at the forefront of the claims market and he has detailed knowledge of Cyber Security risks.
